CSS Neuse 2009

Took a short trip (about 100 miles) to Kinston, NC to visit the Confederate ship CSS Neuse. I am the old goat on the left and Josh is on the right. Nice bike trip if you only have a few hours to ride.

You  also see in the background the remnants of the ironclad gunboat CSS Neuse, a product of the Confederate Navy's ill-fated attempt to regain control of the lower Neuse River and retake the city of New Bern during The War for Southern Independence.
